The chuletas a la Jardinera is a Mexican dish that has been around for years. It’s one of my favorite meals and I love making it at home.
Chuletas a la jardeira are one of my favorite dishes. They’re so good you’ll never miss the meat!
Chuletas are strips of pork loin grilled over charcoal or over an open fire, which gives them that wonderful smoky flavor. The chuletas are then cooked in a tomato sauce with onions, green pepper and cilantro. They are then topped with cheese before being served. This recipe is not only delicious but it’s also easy to make so don’t be intimidated by the idea of cooking it from scratch!
But they take time to make, and I wanted to share with you how to make them perfectly. There are two ways to cook chuletas a la jardenera. You can either use a slow cooker or bake them in an oven. Both methods work well, but there are some differences between the two.
In order to make the perfect chuletas a la jardinera, you need to start with fresh ingredients. Fresh pork loin will give you the best results. If you can’t find fresh pork loin, then frozen pork loin works just as well.

Preparing the Ingredients:
The first step in making this dish is to clean your vegetables. Wash them thoroughly and then remove any dirt that may be left on them. After that, chop them into small pieces so that they will blend well with the other ingredients in the recipe.
Next, cut your pork into thin slices and then put them into a bowl with some salt. Make sure you season it well so that it does not taste bland when mixed with the other ingredients. After seasoning your pork, mix it with all other ingredients until everything is evenly distributed throughout your mixture.
Instructions for Chuletas A La Jardinera Recipe?
Chuletas a la Jardinera is one of the most popular types of Mexican dishes. They’re also very simple to make, and they can be made with a variety of ingredients. You can use chicken or pork to make them, but I prefer using ground beef because it’s what I usually have on hand. When you’re looking for chuletas recipe, this is one way to go.
- The first thing that you need to do is cook some onions in oil until they start turning golden brown.
- Once you’ve got the onions cooked and slightly caramelized, add chopped tomatoes, canned diced green chiles, cumin, and other spices that you like (I like a lot of cumin).
- Then add some water or stock so that everything comes together nicely as a sauce.
- Add your ground beef and let it simmer for about 15 minutes or until everything has combined well together into one big stew-like consistency.
- This will also help make sure that all the flavors from all of your ingredients combine perfectly together while making sure that there are no clumps left behind in your finished product!

Making the Dough.
I use a combination of flour and cornmeal to make the dough. It’s easier than using just flour because the cornmeal gives the dough some texture.
After making the dough, I roll them out into thin sheets. Then I cut them into squares. Next, I brush each square with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder. Finally, I bake them at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
